It's back to classes for me. I had forgotten how much time they take up - mostly by having huge gaps between them. I'm taking a slew (by which I mean 3) of psychology courses this quarter, but most (by which I mean 2) are review since I'm doing things a bit out of order. I did all the interesting elective courses for the minor (wherein they assume you've already done some of the core, so I picked it up as I went) but now I have to go back to the core classes. I'm also taking a logic course...which has homework. Weird concept. And last but not least, I'm taking a theatre history course. Three down today, two tomorrow, and fully enrolled (aka no longer on any waitlists).
I of course swung straight back into theatre - how could I not? - as the Stage Manager for Nomad Theatre Company's production of Evening of Comedy, featuring three short student-written plays. More on that later...
It twas a fairly drab start to the new quarter (waiting 1 1/2 hour for parking permit, wading through the crowded bookstore for overpriced textbooks, sitting through syllabus spiels, etc.) but I expect things will get exciting quickly. Here's to a new year and new adventures!
